My name is Rachelle Cruz. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston Downtown. This is my 23rd year of teaching. I was in Alief ISD for nine years and taught first and second grade. I have taught first grade, ECSE, and Resource at Colony Meadows. I am currently the SAILS teacher and the special education team leader. I encourage my students to work hard, never give up, and to believe in themselves.
When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my husband, son, and daughter!
