Hello,

My name is Dr. Khasawneh and I am so excited to be part of the CME family again this year! We are going to have an awesome year filled with fun and adventure!

I was born and raised in Jordan where I earned my B.Sc. in Computing Information Systems. I then traveled to England and earned my M.Sc. in Electronic-Business and my Ph.D. in Management of Technology, Innovations, and Information Systems from The University of Manchester. I worked as a university professor in Jordan and the UK before I got married to Dr. Jalghoum and moved with him to the US. We have 3 children named Mustafa (8th Grade), Amenah (7th Grade) and Safwan (5th Grade). We have an adorable dog named Hatchi. He is the cutest!

I started subbing at Elementary schools and figured out that this is my newn passion! Teaching young kids, help them succeed and see them grow truly puts a huge smile on my heart! So, I decided to pursue Elementary Teaching Certification and become a teacher :)

Last two years; I taught 3rd grade math and science and the year before I taught 4th grade ELAR and social studies. This year I am teaching 2nd grade ELAR/SS.

 I love reading, kickboxing, walking Hatchi, listening to podcasts, watching my kiddos play soccer and be around my kids and their friends!
