Bonjour.   My name is Nadine McManaman, and I teach the 2nd Grade GT Math/Science, here at CME.  This is my 10th year teaching, and my 9th year at Colony Meadows Elementary.  

I am originally from Montreal, Canada, where I obtained my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences at Concordia University. I am in a very unique position because prior to becoming a teacher, I also worked in academia, IT, and industry.  I am definitely proof that having a degree makes a person very employable in multiple fields.  I owe everything that is good in my life to my education.  As I like to tell my "Tiger Scholars", I use the skills that I learned in school on a daily basis, in so many different ways.  I truly believe that education is the great equalizer of the world and can absolutely change lives for the better.  This belief in the power of education is the reason I became a teacher.
