In 2007, I graduated from University of Houston-Downtown and obtained my first teaching position two months later with FBISD. I have taught Kindergarten through Fifth Grade in my 17 years with FBISD. Most of my career has been teaching 4th grade (my favorite grade).

This is my second year with CME. I absolutely love being a classroom teacher! I look forward to being your child's teacher. We will definitely work hard, but we will have fun along the way. I firmly believe we can help your children reach their potential if we work together. We both have your children’s best interests at heart! 

Personal Information:
I was born in Chicago, but our family moved to the Houston area when I was 5 years old. I attended and graduated from FBISD schools. I have been married to my best friend for 30 wonderful years. We have 3 children together. Our oldest, Luis Centeno, is married to Keelie, his high school sweetheart. They have been together for 12 years and married for 4 years. They have 2 cats and 1 dog. Our daughter, Marilena Centeno, is married to Aaron. They have given us our greatest gift, our granddaughter, Adrianna. My daughter is a Pre-K at CME. Our youngest, Jeremiah, is very focused on his firefighter career and loves fishing. We also have 2 dogs, Luna and Orbit. We are huge ASTROS fans!
