My name is Stephanie Taub and I teach Prekindergarten at Settlers Way Elementary. This will be my fifth full year in the classroom, my fourth year teaching Pre-K, and my second year in FBISD.
I was born in Kansas City where I lived for several years before moving to St. Louis, and eventually ending up in Dallas in 2008. I then moved to Denton where I graduated and received a B.A. in Sociology from the University of North Texas in 2014. Go Mean Green!
Not long after graduation, I found myself substitute teaching back in Dallas where I realized my true passion…the classroom! I was fortunate enough to be selected to participate in a prestigious teaching fellowship where I spent a year in Kindergarten, followed by 2 years of teaching Pre-K in a private school. In 2018, I made the move from Dallas to Sugar Land after meeting and falling in love with my now husband, Jordan.
I love football, traveling, baking, and spending quality time with family and friends. I also love spending time with our amazing pup, Winston!
I’ve had so many wonderful, inspiring teachers throughout my education who motivated me and changed my life for the better. I feel that every child should be so fortunate to have teachers that make a lasting impact on their life and give them the tools to become their most authentic selves. I look forward to having a fantastic year and partnering with you in order to best serve your child. Go Explorers!
