Welcome to Third Grade! My name is Lindsay Kulhanek, and I have been teaching in Fort Bend ISD since 2004, teaching both second and third grade. I am delighted to have the opportunity to teach third grade language arts, reading and social studies.

I received my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with a Reading Specialization from Baylor University. Sic ‘Em Bears! In addition to my generalist certification, I am also ESL and GT certified.

As an educator, I firmly believe that all children can learn and be successful. In my classroom, my goal is to foster independent, confident learners who develop a genuine love for learning and carry that curiosity with them throughout life. I prioritize hands-on experiences and tailor instruction to meet a variety of learning styles, creating opportunities for every child to grow and take responsibility for their own learning journey.

Family is incredibly important to me, and I feel truly blessed to be part of a large, close-knit family. My husband, Keith, and I love spending quality time with our loved ones—whether we’re cheering at a sporting event, playing games, or just relaxing and enjoying good company.

It’s a privilege to be part of your child’s learning adventure, and I anticipate a year rich with thoughtful learning, encouraging relationships, and lasting growth and success.
