Hello, my name is Cherie Willis, and I am excited to begin my 21st year of teaching! This is my 18th year in Fort Bend ISD. I am a proud graduate of Baylor University (Sic ’Em Bears!) where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Science/Pre-Physical Therapy and a master’s degree in Health Education.

Outside of school, I am happily married and a mom of two—ages 14 and 6—who definitely keep us on our toes! I have always loved science because it is truly all around us, and I enjoy sharing that passion with my students. In my free time, I love watching movies, working out when I have time, reading (though I don’t get to do it as often as I’d like—thank goodness for audiobooks!), and according to my friends and family, my favorite pastime might just be eating!

I look forward to an amazing school year as we explore science together through our new curriculum.
