I have been in education for 29 years.  I graduated from the University of Texas - Brownsville.  My teaching philosophy is that "All students can learn," which is why it is important for me to create a safe environment for my students to be encouraged to practice speaking, reading, writing and listening in English.  It is only with practice that they will acquire the English language.  My goal is to make my students feel confident to learn the English language while maintaining their native language in order to make them bilingual and gain better opportunities after graduation.

As Neale Donald Walsch once said, "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone."  I strongly believe that every accomplishment starts with a decision to try.  I am excited to share my accomplishments with my students and hope they will one day reach greater heights.
