This is my 24th year in education and 20th at SLMS.  I am a proud product of FBISD (Colony Bend, First Colony, Clements). I am a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University where I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, emphasis in Reading and English, minoring in History. Ax 'Em JACKS! I then went on to earn my Master's degree in Education Administration from Lamar University.

I am the proud mom of two (boy and girl).  My husband and I enjoy traveling with our kids and grilling for family and friends.  

Education is something that has been ever present in my life. My mother, a master teacher, retired from Fort Bend after over 40 years in education. Having worked in the corporate world in college, I know it is not the place for me. I belong in the classroom, educating children. My job is not just to teach them American History, but to teach them about life, help them to see their potential and give them the tools to reach it.
