Hello!

2024-25 will mark my 29th year in FBISD - and the 26th year at Sugar Land Middle School.  My schedule includes supporting special education students in 7th and 8th grade general education math classrooms as well as teaching 7th and 8th grade math in a special education setting.  I received my degree in Business (Finance) from the University of Houstong in 1990.  I worked in the banking industry for 6 years before I earned my teaching certificate in 1996 when I started at Sugar Land Middle School.  From 2001-2004 I worked as an itinerant special education teacher working with students with visual impairments.  Realizing that the classroom was where I really wanted to be, I returned to SLMS in the fall of 2004.  

I have been married since 1999.  I have two children, two dogs and two cats.  My son is woring on his masters degree in computer science at Texas Tech.  My daughter is working towaards a nursing degree, also at Texas Tech.
