  • Your ESL (English as a Second Language) team welcomes ALL children to Rita Drabek Elementary.
     
    The number of students qualifying for ESL instruction at Drabek continues to grow. Please feel free to contact your ESL teachers. We are available to answer your questions or to meet with you regarding any concerns that you may have.

About Your ESL Teacher

  •  Mrs. Cindy Donnell
     My name is Cindy Donnell. I have been teaching in Fort Bend ISD for over 30 years. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Teaching degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. I am certified in kindergarten, grades first through eighth, gifted education, Reading Recovery and English as a Second Language (ESL). I have taught First Grade for and  earned my Gifted and Talented certification. I also worked as a Reading Recovery teacher during that same time period. I am currently working as an ESL teacher and have done so for the last several years.
