Welcome to Pre-K! My name is Ms. Torres, and this is my sixth year teaching at Rita Drabek Elementary. I look forward to getting to know all my wonderful students for the 2024-2025 school year and know that we will have lots of fun learning! 

A little background: 

I graduated from Houston Baptist University in May of 2019 with a Degree in Elementary Education and a Studio Art Minor (Go Huskies!). During the summer, I taught at a science summer camp with ages ranging from Pre-K to 3rd grade. This is where I was given the opportunity to join the Drabek Dragon Family and the wonderful Pre-K team!

I am also in the process of studying for the National Board Certification for next year, so I am looking forward to learning more about how to give my students the best education and about myself as an educator.
