Hello and welcome to FINZ-TV!

 

FINZ-TV is the broadcasting team here at Jan Schiff Elementary. These 5th grade students run the morning announcements on a daily basis. They have a desire to learn about how things are run behind the scenes or to be on air as an anchor. The students will use the green screen and learn how to properly operate a camera, auditory and visual mixers.

There is an application process and there are try-outs twice a year to fill all the crew member slots for the school year.

 

Students that are interested in becoming a member of FINZ-TV must have good conduct throughout the school, passing grades, be a role model for other students and be positive with other news staff.
