Hello, and thank you for dropping by my website to gain a little more insight about me!

I'll begin by saying that I have always wanted to be a teacher.  I can remember as a child using my dolls and teddy bears as students and of course, I was the teacher. I would play school for hours!  

I have been an Educator for 15 years, and I still love every minute of it. I learn as much from my students as they learn from me. They keep my mind fresh and I love that they keep me up to date on all of the latest trends! I also love experiencing the love i get from my students and cheering them on to be the best that they can be.

In my early years I taught 6th Grade Reading, Language Arts and World Geography.  This is when my biggest hobby, traveling, was discovered. Teaching about the different countries and the various cultures encouraged me to visit various countries to dive into and understand different cultures.

I am  now in my 7th year here at Jan Schiiff Elementary teaching 5th grade Reading, Language Arts and Social Studies. I love the kids, the parents and the entire community!
