Hello Shark Families! It is such a pleasure to be partnering with you this year! I am really looking forward to getting to know my students and their families. Being a part of the Schiff Shark family is an honor! Jan Schiff has been my home campus since 2014. My time here at Schiff has given me the experience of teaching in most of the different grade levels. This year I will be teaching ELA/SS in 2nd grade! I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and an Associate of Arts Degree in Education from Humphrey's College in California. I also attended C.S.U. Stanislaus as a music major with an emphasis on classical vocal performance. My 4 children and I enjoy life here in Missouri City and feel lucky to be a part of Fort Bend ISD. I am looking forward to a fantastic year!

The author tells a story of true friendship as her main character Ivan the gorilla embarks on a journey of understanding his greatest strengths and attributes. Katherine Applegate is a wonderful author who's writing style connects the reader to the characters from the start to make the adventure all to real!
