When students come to Art at Drabek Elementary they will be focusing on the creative process as well as the art process. What is their idea, how do we get there, what steps do we follow, problem solving, and critical thinking will be questions we ask for eachproject.  Students will be exposed to as many different forms of art and different media that we can fit in each year. We do both 2D and 3D pieces including weaving, drawing, painting, collage, and ceramics. 
 
We are working each year to raise funds to purchase the many consumable art supplies and tools we need to create awesome art and give our students creative experiences that that will remember for years to come.  Scientists have proven that students who are in the arts perform better than those who take no arts classes at all.   So please help us support the arts by proudly displaying your child’s artwork and check out their artwork online at www.Artsonia.com .
