Welcome to 5^th grade! I am thrilled that your Drabek Dragon will be joining me on this learning adventure for Reading, Writing, and Social Studies. 5th grade is such an exciting year, full of new responsibilities and student ownership of their learning. This is such a fun grade because we get to see students push themselves to succeed in ways they never have before.

My family and I moved from Pennsylvania to Houston during the summer of 2015. I obtained my BA degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from West Chester University. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, going to the movies, and (of course) reading for fun.  

My main goal as an educator is that my students will find the joy in learning to become life-long learners. Every child has the potential to be successful in their own way.
