    Pre-Kindergarten is an exciting year for children! We have put together this guideline to help answer any questions that you may have. But always feel free to e-mail us if you need additional help.

      
    ** PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOUR CHILD HAS ANY FOOD ALLERGIES OR RESTRICTIONS. **

     Communication-

    Please check your e-mail and child’s folder daily. This will be our main source of communication. Friday folders go home on Friday and are to be returned on Monday. Teacher Conference time is 1:15-2:00.


    Lunch

    11:00-11:30


    Birthdays - 
    You may bring store-bought small cupcakes for your child and his/her classmates for a special birthday treat. Because of our short time in class, we do not have time to cut a cake or a cookie cake. Also, there is no need to send a drink (such as a juice box). Two dozen small cupcakes will be plenty.
     
    We ask that your child wear appropriate tennis, sneakers, or athletic type shoes. No sandals, boots, flip flops, or dress shoes please. 

     
    Guidelines - 
    Please label your child’s jackets, hats, lunch kits, and backpacks. Do not write your child’s name on the outside of their backpack. Instead, put your child’s name on the inside of their backpack. The best “Stranger Danger” teaching can be forgotten by little ones who hear someone saying their name.

    Please choose clothes for school that your child can easily go to the restroom in (dress and undress independently). 

     YOU are your child’s most important teacher. Remember that learning can take place anywhere. By spending time reading with your child and looking over school work, you show your child the value you place on education. We not only value your reinforcement of skills, but we need your assistance to help your child receive a well-balanced education.
