This is my seventh year teaching Special Education and my third year at Rita Drabek. I'm thrilled to be part of the dragon family as we LEAD with pride!

I began my journey in education in 2009 as an early childhood educator. Following the birth of my oldest child, I transitioned to public school education as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in Fort Bend. This experience has profoundly shaped my perspective on the capabilities of students with exceptionalities and the importance of support systems.

While working in this role, I earned my Masters in Special Education, which expanded my knowledge of the laws and services available to best support our students. This year, my focus is to support students so they can succeed and grow, as a resource teacher!

Some of my hobbies include spending time traveling, enjoying different cuisines, and spending time with the family. Some of our favorite travel memories were road trips to Denver, Little Rock, and Florida. Recently, we got to explore a little bit around Dubai, which my youngest claimed as the "most advanced city in the WHOLE world!" Needless to say, it was quite impressive!
