My name is Melanie Shelton. This is my 19^th year teaching in Fort Bend ISD. I have taught ESL, 1^st grade, 2^nd grade and 3^rd grade. This is my third year as a Literacy Intervention Teacher. I love to read and hope I can challenge your child to fall in love with reading.

I grew up in Katy, Texas and I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Nutrition. I am certified in grades 1-6 and in English as a Second Language. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter. I also love to exercise and shop.
