Ms. Enrika Williams

Meet Special Education Teacher Enrika Williams, who has over twenty years of teaching experience. Ms. Williams earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and Masters of Administration from Lamar University.  Ms. Williams began her career in the CTE department and quickly moved into the Special Education department, where she currently strives to help every student reach their academic goals by providing optimal support through high academic standards, intensive instruction and a commitment to excellence.

Ms. Williams offers community support and believes that it takes a village to fully support children. In doing so, Ms. Williams founded the "Girls Night Out Program" that offered training to young women in the community with a focus on women’s issues and life skills. Lectures, combined with interactive activities, were given that provided collective interaction with students and community professionals that provide the framework for students to embrace a future of success. The program was funded by local businesses and partnerships that offer students a Red-Carpet Style event with free admission.

Ms. Williams' years in public education have allowed her to not only teach students but to learn and grow as well. She is a high achiever with demonstrated strengths in organization, creativity, and working with students as well as colleagues.

Her focus is to educate all and build a strong community of future leaders.
