Welcome to 8th grade! I am excited about working with you and your student this school year. Your eighth grader is going to be growing and taking on more responsibility. 8th grade ELA includes activities and projects that will involve using both reading and writing skills throughout the school year. All of this will be in preparation for what awaits them in high school next year. 

I grew up in the Cy-Fair school district and graduated from Langham Creek High School. I received a Bachelor of Arts in English at Texas A&M University. I am certified for grades 8-12 in English Language Arts and Reading, and I also have an ESL certification. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, watching movies and shows, and shuttling my two daughters to their different activities. 

I look forward to seeing how your student will grow in their learning this year as we work together for their success!

Teacher Tutorial Schedule

    I have tutorials every morning except for Friday. 
     
    Students must have a pass for tutorials that includes the following information or they will not be admitted:
    • The class they are going to 
    • The date
    • A parent/guardian signature 

    A pass is required for The Zone as well (Tuesday and Thursday afternoons starting September 10th).
