Mrs. Ishaka Mack is a native Houstonian who has served Fort Bend ISD for over 15 years.  She is the current Dean of Instruction at Christa McAuliffe Middle School. Previous positions include teacher, AVID Coordinator, Instructional Coach, and Secondary Specialist for English Language Arts and Social Studies. 

Mrs. Mack is a proud alumnus of the University of Houston (Bachelor of Science) and Capella University (Master of Science). She is a compassionate citizen who pours into the community through volunteerism, and Mrs. Mack is an effective communicator who encourages life-long learning for all staff, teachers, and students.

Students deserve the very best, and Mrs. Mack aims to create an environment where they can succeed. She lives by the motto,” Every student can learn, just not on the same day, or the same way.”  As an instructional leader, Mrs. Mack looks forward to seeing the minds of our young scholars inflamed by our dedicated teachers here at McAuliffe Middle School.
