I was born and raised in Houston, Texas.  Widow,  mother of 3, and 8 grandchildren. Attended public schools in Houston, Texas.  Graduated from Texas Southern University, Houston, TX, with a BBA in General Business with a Concentration in Finance  (1999).  

I've been teaching Math/Science for 16 years and coached girls basketball for 3 years in Fort Bend Independent School District. I enjoy teaching children to learn for a life time. 

I have served on several committees: Campus Base Leadership Team, Department Chair, Team Leader, Parent Teacher Organization representative, iAchieve, and National Elementary Honor Society Advisor and Elementary Technology Coordinator,  Campus Science Fair Coordinator, and Foundations Committee member.  I'm also the Coding and Garden Club sponsor.  .  

I love the Lord and reading His word, traveling to foreign countries, sewing, singing, swimming, and playing the piano..   My motto is I CAN AND I WILL DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS.  YES I CAN.
