• CAMPUS ASSESSMENTS

    Welcome to the 2025 - 2026 school year. I am Shaun Reynolds, the Campus Assessment Coordinator (CAC) for CMMS. This is my 10th year as the CAC. Before coming to Christa McAuliffe, I spent 9 years as an Algebra 1 and 8th Grade Math teacher at First Colony Middle School, along with being the Contest Math Coach and NJHS sponsor. My role here is to plan, organize and implement state-required testing, which includes TELPAS, which is for our Emergent Bilingual students, and STAAR testing for all grade levels and students. I am also responsible for district testing initiatives, such as our MAP screener, which provides vital information for our teachers on what the students already know. 

    Another aspect of this role is to provide data for the teachers and administration for all forms of testing, so decisions can be made to improve overall student's achievement and growth. 

    Outside of work, I like to bake, watch sports, especially football and baseball, or take a dip in the pool. I am also a season ticket holder for the Houston Texans.
