About FBISD Parent and Family Engagement Centers

  • Parent and Family Engagement Centers are provided at all Fort Bend ISD Title I campuses where there is a designated Parent Educator or Family and Community Educator who promotes the campus’ family and community engagement activities.

    These individuals lead the work within the centers, and they are the connection between families and the campus. They work with parents/guardians and the campus administration to provide educational events and opportunities to assist families with supporting their child’s learning at home.

    Parents/guardians can visit the center to attend classes, seek support in navigating questions for the school or Fort Bend ISD, and receive resource and referral assistance to community resources that may assist families address their unique needs.

Mr. Keilean Flowers

My name is Keilean Flowers, and I am the Parent Educator here at Christa McAuliffe Middle School. With over 15 years of experience in education and 8 years proudly serving Fort Bend ISD, I am committed to empowering families and supporting student success. My background in criminal justice, along with a Bachelor’s degree in the field, has shaped my passion for building strong, informed, and connected school communities. I am a proud Fort Bend ISD alumnus, attending Ridgegate Elementary, Missouri City Middle School, Willowridge High School and Dulles High School, where I graduated in 2003. As your Parent Educator, I’m here to provide guidance, resources, and meaningful engagement opportunities that help parents play an active role in their child’s educational journey.
 
The Family Center offers support in:
Tech Assistance: Schoology, Skyward Q, Excel, PowerPoint & Word. 
Parenting & Life Skills: Workshops, Resume Assistance, ESL Support, Arts and Crafts and Volunteers(VIPS).
Health & Wellness: Workshops on Mental Health awareness, Family Fitness, Self-Care Tips.
