One of my greatest accomplishments has been the completion of my second Master of Education in Special Education Cross Categorical from Northern Arizona University, May 2012. To this degree, it has enabled me to take on leadership responsibilities and work with children with special needs. I have worked as an educator for 20 years. This philosophy is based on the responsive needs of the community. Each child, in each school, in every community deserves to be healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged. I believe in providing an extraordinary education with unlimited opportunities can empower and enable all parents and students to achieve their goals. 

I am the AVID Coordinator, and AVID Elective teacher for Grades 6, 7, 8. AVID is a college preparatory class that prepares  our students for career and college readiness. The students will begin to dream beyond what they can imagine. I believe we can get our children to succeed if we can help change their mindset.
