👩‍🏫 About Me: Hello, Christa McAuliffe Middle School parents! My name is Talum Clay, and I’m not just your Literacy Interventionist; I’m also a proud mother of five wonderful children and a loving wife. Family is at the center of my heart, and I cherish every moment I get to spend with them.

📚 Educational Background: I am a lifelong learner. I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the University of Houston, where I honed my skills in business management. However, my passion for education led me to pursue a Master of Arts in Education (M.A.E.D) from the University of Phoenix. But my quest for knowledge didn’t stop there; I later obtained a certification from Lamar University to better serve our students.

👩‍🏫 Teaching Experience: I’ve been dedicated to the field of education for 15 years. Throughout this time, I’ve had the privilege of helping countless students reach their full potential. My journey in education has been incredibly rewarding and I’m committed to making a positive impact on the young minds at our school.

📖 Hobbies: When I’m not at school, you can often find me with my nose in a book. Reading is not just a pastime for me; it's a lifelong passion that I'm eager to share with our students. I also love to travel and explore new places with my family. Experiencing different cultures and landscapes is not only enriching but also a way for me to bring diverse perspectives into the classroom.
