Mr. East currently serves as the 7th Grade Assistant Principal at Christa McAuliffe Middle School. Prior to his time as a FBISD administrator, he was a Math and Social Skills teacher. In 2015, he was honored by his peers as the Teacher of the Year. He has also served in various facilitator roles such as CHAMPS, PBIS and Professional Learning.

Mr. East earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Public Relations from Sam Houston State University. He later returned and earned a Master’s degree in Education from Sam Houston State University with a focus in Administration.

Mr. East enjoys exercising, music and spending time with his incredible support system that consists of family and friends. Mr. East is excited to be a part of the Chrita McAuliffe family and serve the families of his community.
