Coding Club

  • Welcome to the Fort Bend Computer Coding Club at Quail Valley Middle School.

Learning the basics of computer programming is not only fun and interesting to students but gives them a window to future paths that will be open to them. Along with foreign languages, coding is a language needed for jobs of the future.

The students will use different programs to begin to learn to code. They use Code.org and Scratch, which has block code the students use to create their animations and games. The  students will also be using code to program a robot to maneuver through an obstacle or perform a feat.

We will participate in coding competitions through the school year.
