Welcome! I am looking forward to working with your child this year in ELA/ESL class. A little about me...I have lived in the Missouri City area for eight years. I also have three sons; two attend Texas Tech and one is in eighth grade in FBISD.

This year we will work on developing your student's English proficiency in reading, writing, listening and speaking, as well as on the grade level state TEKS English standards.

This is my 16th year in education working with students at the middle school level/secondary level. I have taught Writing, English as a Second Language (ESL), English Language Arts (ELA), Math and Science in the Dallas and Houston areas.

I've also served as an ESL & ELA Reading Instructional Coach for several years in Bryan/College Station, as well as leading the district's Scholastic Reading Intervention Program.
