Gifted and Talented at Quail Valley Middle School

  • Identified students in grades 6-12 are provided service through open enrollment Pre-AP and AP classes with GT-trained teachers in the core subject areas of English language arts, social studies, science, and mathematics. Additional opportunities offered to secondary students include the Gifted and Talented Academy at Quail Valley Middle School (grades 6-8) and the Gifted and Talented Mentorship Program (grade 12).

Learn About The Gifted & Talented Academy (GTA) at Quail Valley Middle School

    • Students must apply to attend the Gifted & Talented Academy at Quail Valley Middle School.
    • The application is open to 5th graders each year from the 1st day of February through the last day of February. 
    • All GT-identified 5th graders in FBISD are encouraged to apply.
    • Gifted and talented 5th graders attending school outside of FBISD can also apply.
    • If accepted into the GTA, bus transportation is provided by FBISD.
