¡Hola! I am glad you are here!

My name is María Rincón, and I'm proud to teach Spanish II here at Quail Valley. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and Sociology from the University of Houston. Go Coogs!! Originally from North Carolina, I moved to Houston in 2010 and have been passionate about education ever since. I’ve been part of the Quail Valley MS family since 2017, and I truly enjoy helping students grow in their ability to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish. In 2022, I was honored to be named the FBISD World Language District Teacher of the Year!

Outside the classroom, I’m a proud mom to two wonderful children, Ivan (6) and Camila (1), who inspire me every day. I enjoy reading, listening to music, solving jigsaw puzzles, and I'm a huge soccer fan.
