Hello! My name is Sarah Bateman, and I am thrilled to be your librarian at Settlers Way Elementary! I graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in English; and spent the next few years in Waco, Texas, where I gained my first three years of teaching experience. I spent the next four years teaching English at Clements High School in Fort Bend, during which I obtained my Masters in Library Science from the University of North Texas in 2023. I cannot wait to see your students grow and help them cultivate a love for reading and learning!
