I began my educational career in Fortbend ISD as a 3rd grade self-contained teacher in 1999.  I am a veteran teacher with over 15 years experience and most of my career I've taught 5th grade. Education is the foundation of everything and I find it to be a pleasure to have the responsibility to enrich the lives of children. I'm a proud graduate of Prairie View A&M University and currently hold a degree in Interdisplinary Studies with a specialization in Special Education. I've also obtained a Masters of Arts in Counseling. I want to be able to help the whole child not just the academic side.  The best part of me are my three young sons who help keep me grounded.
