Mrs. Scarlet Pruetz

I received my Bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I later received my teaching certifications in Early Childhood through sixth grade, Special Education Early Childhood through twelfth grade, and English as a Second Language, from Texas Teachers. I began my career with Fort Bend ISD in 2017, where I taught PPCD right here at Settlers Way Elementary. This is my first year teaching Kindergarten, and I am so thrilled to have theopportunity to help your children grow, learn, and overcome obstacles.

On a personal note, I grew up in Missouri City, and graduated from Elkins High School right here in Fort Bend. My husband and I have two amazing children, Harper (2 1/2) and Steven (1 1/2). We also have a gorgeous brindle pittie mix rescue dog named Lola! During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, and traveling. I love doing activities to keep my mind active, like puzzles and word games. I am always open to try new things, whether it be places, food, or activities!

I look forward to a great year at SWE!
