Mrs. Stephanie Nuckols
Hello! My name is Stephanie Nuckols and I am so excited to join the Settlers Way Elementary family this year as a 4th Grade ELA and Social Studies teacher. This will be my 8th year in education. I spent the previous seven years teaching in Houston ISD. I am thrilled to get to know this community and work with my kids to grow in reading and writing!
I was born and raised in Houston and I knew at the age of eight that I wanted to be a teacher. I attended St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX (Go Rattlers!) and graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary English Language Arts and Reading in 2015. I returned to school a few years later and earned my Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from UT Arlington in 2019.
I live in Sugar Land with my husband, Mr. Nuckols, our two year old daughter Julia, and our energetic border collie Riley! I truly love my job and having the opportunity to help kids realize their full potential! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, shopping, and discovering new ideas to incorporate into my classroom!
