Greetings!

My name is Dawn Ohl and I am beyond excited to be a part of the family here at Settlers Way Elementary. Teaching has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I began my teaching career 15 years ago after graduating from the University of Houston-Downtown. After getting my feet wet I decided to continue my education, earning a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2012 from the University of St. Thomas. I love being in the classroom and challenging my students to reach their full potential. I have worked with a diverse population of students and I welcome the challenge it brings. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and reading. I am looking forward to continuing my career here with the SWE Explorers!
