I was born and raised in Rewa, India, which is also known as the "Land of White Tigers".  My mother has been my inspiration & I always wanted to be a teacher like her. My father always motivated me to achieve higher studies while my brother was besides me as a moral support when I grew up.

I taught Middle school and Highschool Science and Chemistry courses from 2002 to 2005 in India. This will be my 7th year in FBISD. I worked at Scanlan Oaks Elementary from 2015 to 2017, then, I moved to Hunters Glen Elementary where I taught 4th Grade Math/ Science for 2017- 2018. In the past three years, I taught  Math/ Science in 2nd and 3rd Grade from 2018 to 2021. I have taught 4th and 3rd at Settlers Way.

I have a daughter who is a 6th Grader at FCMS. She learns Indian classical vocals and piano. Outside of the classroom, I sing, paint, and watch Science videos or  spend time together with my daughter talking, baking, singing and playing with our two dogs named Cocoa and Bella. She is my world and my technology person at home. 

I  believe in constant learning & strive to learn new techniques of teaching. Every child can learn. We just need to find the way they learn and light the spark of knowledge in young minds.  I love to see the spark of confidence the kids gain when they learn a small thing. I am always there to help your children with their education. This year, I am excited to work with amazing team members at SWE and guide your child on the path of success.
