Hi! My name is Priscilla Salazar, and I am very excited to be your child's DHH (Deaf or Hard of Hearing) kindergarten teacher this year! 

I am originally from Laredo, Texas, a small border town in South Texas where I received my undergraduate degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Texas A&M International University. I then moved to San Antonio, Texas to attend UT Health Science Center, where I completed my master's degree in Deaf Education and Hearing Science. I am currently a third year PhD student at the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. 

What excites me the most about teaching is that every day is a learning opportunity. I love all things language development and helping students achieve their listening and language goals! I have a passion for collaborating and working alongside families!

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy playing with my schnauzer Cleo and my pitbull Mo. I also enjoy plants, traveling, shopping, spending time with my family and being outdoors!
