Hello! My name is Mareenah Iqbal, and I am so excited to be a part of the Settlers Way Elementary family, and to be a part of the wonderful 4^th grade team as an ELA and Social Studies teacher. This will be my 3rd year in education. I have taught 4th grade and 1^st grade. I have also worked in Fort Bend ISD for 4 years as an Extended Learning Group Leader and as a substitute for many schools and grade levels. My favorite thing about working with children is being able to see each student’s personality and knowledge grow throughout the school year. I attended the University of Houston (GO COOGS!) and graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Education. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and traveling all around the world. I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
