Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio Early Childhood Special Education ESL Certified GT Certified
Mrs. Scarlet Pruetz
I received my Bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I later received my teaching certifications in Early Childhood through sixth grade, Special Education Early Childhood through twelfth grade, and English as a Second Language, from Texas Teachers. I began my teaching career at Settlers Way Elementary in 2017. I taught PPCD for two years, Kindergarten for one year, and this is my fourth year to teach Second Grade. I am looking forward to having the opportunity to help your child grow, learn, and overcome obstacles.
On a personal note, I grew up in Missouri City, and graduated from Elkins High School right here in Fort Bend. My husband and I have two amazing children, Harper (6) and Steven (5). We also have a gorgeous brindle pittie mix rescue dog named Lola! During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, and traveling. I love doing activities to keep my mind active, like puzzles and word games. I am always open to try new things, whether it be places, food, or activities!
I look forward to a great year at SWE!
