Background: My name is Mary Dru Sitka. I grew up in Schulenburg, TX. My husband and I have a beautiful little girl, Brenley and a sweet baby boy, Baker.

Education/Career: I earned my teaching degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. After I graduated I began teaching at Royal ISD and I taught second grade for two years. This will be my sixth year at Oakland Elementary and I have taught 4th grade math, and now I will be going into my sixth year at Oakland teaching 2nd grade math and science! I can't wait to ROAR to SUCCESS with you and your child this school year!

Interests: In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and watching our kids grow!
