I am Oakland Elementary’s Physical Education teacher. I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Sports Administration. I am a product of F.B.I.S.D., and I have worked for F.B.I.S.D. since 2006. I have been Oakland's P.E. teacher since 2013. Before I came to Oakland, I was the P.E. teacher at E.A. Jones Elementary & Armstrong Elementary. I strive to make a difference in the lives of my students, their families, and my peers at work by helping them live a healthy and active lifestyle.

Other interests of mine include music & art, doing anything active outdoors, watching my students and all the kids in my family play their team sports, going to professional sports games, traveling, being involved with my church, and of course, spending time with family & friends.
