I’m excited to begin my 28th year in education! I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and my Master of Special Education from Sam Houston State University. Teaching students with dyslexia is my passion, and I take great pride in helping them grow into confident, fluent readers.

 

I’ve been happily married for 25 years and am the proud mom of four amazing sons—Trey, who plays minor league baseball with the Cincinnati Reds and will graduate from the University of Texas in December 2025; Jordan, a senior at Texas State; Jacob, a junior and baseball player at Huston-Tillotson University; and Roman, a junior and baseball player at Foster HS.
