Welcome to Oakland Elementary and to my First grade class. I am so excited to be a part of your child’s First grade year. I am a graduate of the University of Houston and have been teaching since 2007. I began my career at Mission Glen Elementary, where I was hired right away after doing my student teaching and then I moved to Cornerstone. After six years of teaching at Cornerstone I moved to Oakland to be closer to home to raise my family. This is going to be my 8th year at Oakland! I look forward to working with you and your children.
I am married to a wonderful Woman named Lin. We have 2 beautiful children: Sophia, and Mathew. During our free time we like to visit the observatory located at Brazos Bend State Park, eating out, and going for walks around our neighborhood. Our family also consists of three beautiful dogs, Ryuu, Hana, and now Sakura. Hana is a champion in the UKC and we hope Sakura follows in her foot steps!
