Welcome to 4th grade at Oakland!

Hello, Wildcat Families! I'm ecstatic to be your child’s fourth grade teacher this year! I will be entering my 20th year of teaching and my 13th year at Oakland. I have taught 4th grade for 18 years, and I absolutely love it! 

I'm passionate about teaching and designing meaningful and engaging lessons to create lifelong learners and independent problem-solvers. In my spare time, I'm usually reading and researching different ways to engage students to enhance my teaching craft! I also enjoy working out, shopping, traveling, and trying new, delicious cuisines around the world with my family! 

Through strong communication and teamwork, we'll have a fourth grade year filled with learning, growth, and FUN!
