Welcome to 4th grade at Oakland Elementary!

Hello, Wildcat Families! I am thrilled to be your child’s 4th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher this year. I love helping students become confident readers, thoughtful writers, and curious learners who enjoy sharing ideas and connecting what we learn in class to the world around us.

I graduated from Texas A&M University–Victoria. Go Jags! I believe in creating a classroom that is warm, welcoming, and supportive—a place where students feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and growing both academically and personally. Strong communication and teamwork are very important to me.

Classroom updates, assignments, and important information will be shared through Schoology, and I will also use ClassDojo for communication and announcements. I look forward to partnering with families to support student success throughout the year.
