Every child deserves a high quality education, regardless of the everyday life obstacles they face. I started teaching in an urban community similar to the one I myself rose from. I believe it was now my time to reach back and influence, inspire and help those students find that fire and drive to become a successful individual. Twenty years later, and I still am at the forefront of this battle to motivate, ignite, and nurture students to believe that they to can create their own legacy of success. I am a proud alumnus of Prairie View A&M University, where Prairie View Produces Productive People.
