Hello Eagle Families!

My name is John Martin, and I will be the Dyslexia Specialist this year. I am excited about joining the Colony Bend family! I have been in the education field for many years. 

I earned a BS in Sociology from Mississippi Valley State University in 1998. In 2012 I completed my master’s program in Curriculum and Instruction: Reading with an Emphasis on Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. I enjoy being a lifelong learner and look forward to serving students this year.

While not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family.

This school year will be an exciting year of growth for all. I look forward to getting to know my students and their families along this journey!
